Hi guys!! Help me please!! I’m Italian and I’m a little problem with my english!!?

Could you read this paragraph? I would like to know if there are some mistakes and where they are !! thanks!

Comenius was a theologian, a philosopher and a writer. He believed that only with the education the man could shape him-self and have an harmonious life. He is considered the father of modern education. He lived during the Illumism. So he reach the cosmopolitan idea. In fact he fought for the peace among the people and the humanity’s unit .
When he finished the University he started his activity of teacher and pastor but, when the “thirty years War” upset his country he went to exile. He took refuge in Poland . Here he started his teaching and his pedagogical production. He wrote some literary works, which are “Ianua Linguarum Reserata” and “Didactica Magna” which are wrote in Latin because he loved the classical languages . These masterpieces help to shape some European schools. In the “Didactica Magna” Comenius states the importance of the universal education.
He illustrated the aims of the method and gave us important suggestions that are still used like the instruction’s key-points, the identity of method among teacher of successive classes and the connection among the disciplines so that one integrates the others. The most popular Comenius’ sentence is: “ to teach all things to all people”. It mean that all people must have the opportunity to understand the aim of reason and of everything. He wanted the mixted classes, without social and sexual distinctions. So his tought anticipated things that today are realty. Also the Comenius’ school gave importance to the study of the language. So the student had an equipment of word that was very important for his future. Besides the school for Comenius was an “humanity’s workshop”.

I hope you answer me soon!! Thanks!

This is a very good attempt but there are a few points you need to be aware of; you have used "the" in a few places where it is not required, some of the phrases are literal translations from Italian which don’t make sense in English so I have made a guess as to their meaning.

He lived during the Illumism. So he reached the cosmopolitan idea (=> not sure what this bit means?). In fact he fought (strove?) for peace among people.

When he finished university, he became a teacher and pastor but, when the Thirty Years War upset his country, he went into exile. He took refuge in Poland . Here he started his teaching and his pedagogical production. At this time, he wrote “Ianua Linguarum Reserata” and “Didactica Magna,” both of which were written in Latin, as he loved the classical languages . These masterpieces helped to shape European schools.

In the “Didactica Magna,” Comenius states the importance of universal education. He illustrated the aims of teaching gave us important suggestions that are still used today, [like the instruction’s key-points, the identity of method among teacher of successive classes and the connection among the disciplines so that one integrates the others (don't understand what you mean)]. He famously declared that education was: “ to teach all things to all people”. This means that anyone must have the opportunity to learn. He advocated mixed classes, without social and gender distinctions.

His ideas anticipated things that today are commonplace. The Comenius schools also lent importance to the study of languages; students needed knowledge of words; this was very important for one’s future. Besides, Comenius’ school was a “humanity’s workshop”. (<=don’t know what this bit means).

Hope this helps, but I didn’t understand all of what you meant.

I changed it a bit. All in all it was very good, there are some parts that were quite difficult to decipher and change completely, but other than that the only things that were wrong were a few grammatical errors and some words in the wrong places. Very good!
