Two points I first want to clear up:
1– Very few Muslim countries have the death penalty for apostasy, for example Saudi Arabia. Many do not, for example Turkey.
2– It’s not "thousands" or "millions." Very few people leave Islam. Can’t leave the truth once you have it.

Now that we have that out of the way…

Are you against all forms of the death penalty for crimes, then?
For murder, for treason, etc?

In many Western countries, death for political treason has been carried out.
Apostasy in a Muslim country is considered both political and religious treason, since there is no separation of religion and state.

Bottom line is that apostates are welcome to leave the country or if they want to stay they can keep their apostasy a secret. If they go around publicly announcing it, then it is a crime and they know the consequence. They have 3 days to reconsider.

I doubt you CAN stop fanatical Muslims from killing. It's their Holy war. Terrorism under the guise of the Muslim Religion. It is the fastest growing religion in the world. However here in America most just want to practice their Religion. They are making their presence known, there is no doubt about that. We Americans are getting kinda jumpy I guess, but the majority ask only that we do not interfere in any way with their right to worship Allah. If you do try to interfere with this right they will not take kindly to it. If they have a army here in America planning to take us over I don't see it yet. I think they will start their take over gradually in other countries first. Have a nice day.

In the kingdom of God, victory is gained through suffering. The beautiful thing about the death of Christians is that Satan's biggest weapon, death, is nothing for us. It means going home, it means building the army of Christ. I'm not saying I like the fact that Muslims and other religious groups are killing, but there is a beauty behind it. This is true to the character of God, he has a way of taking ugly situations and making them beautiful. Sadly, we will never stop religious groups from killing, but in the end, God and those who follow him win!

THE MUSLIM MOULANAS, AND MOULAWIS, ALL OVER THE WORLD , SHOULD CONVENE A MEETING AND BAN THE FALSE MUSLIMS FROM THEIR RELIGION. THEY SHOULD PREACH IN THE MOSQUES, THAT KILLING IS HARAAM.

Their Koran teaches them to kill infidels and other Muslims that want to leave Islam or their Muslim countries. We can let them kill each other. Bomb themselves, but kiling the innocent, and children is very wrong. And killing Americans just because we are Americans and mostly Christians is wrong. Allah is not a peaceful god. God of the Bible is about Love, Jesus taught 3 years about loving each other. Muslims should follow Jesus.

Same applies to many other religions. NATO is spending millions in printing the Bible and in 1984 CIA killed 10,000 Buddhist monks who were in the process of translating Buddhist textbooks to French, German and Italian. So, while I agree that there are so many Muslims involved in wars, don't forget the Christians which often the Western media try to hide!!!

How do you stop people from killing? It seems to me that some parts of the middle east is a couple of hundred years behind the rest of the world. Hopefully they will catch up. The problem is, they got machine guns, and a backward society, with a lot of fundamentalist brainwashing, which isn't a good mix. Maybe education? I don't know, I think that it won't take too long for them to mellow out a bit, if they get the internet and MTV, stuff like that.
